GeoNetwork User Interface
GeoNetwork, an Open Source Metadata entry tool, has been selected by ANZLIC and other Australian and New Zealand agencies as a key tool for Metadata management.
LISAsoft has been employed to improve GeoNetwork’s web based user interface for metadata entry. Previously users were presented with an unorganised list of fields which was automatically built from the Metadata schema. LISAsoft improved the rendering so an administrator can arrange fields in a sensible user centric order.
LISAsoft worked closely with the GeoNetwork community ensuring our work fit with proposed and existing designs, and contributed our code back into the GeoNetwork repository.
